Close to town, yet quiet and relaxing, Marengo Beachbreak is a perfect place to stay for a short and rejuvenating getaway - and your dog is welcome too! Our 1 acre property, 2kms west of Apollo Bay is extensively landscaped and is only 300m to beautiful, dog-friendly, Marengo beach and the Great Ocean Road.

From here you can stroll to the beach, walk 30mins into Apollo Bay for a hearty breakfast or coffee at one of the many cafes/restaurants; go driving and walking through peaceful rainforests to stunning waterfalls; walk part of the Great Ocean Walk and so much more - all with your furry best friend by your side.Marengo Beach Break

Then you can relax in one of our 3 clean and comfortable motel-style units, each one with garden views and decorated with photographic artwork. (Each unit sleeps 2). While full kitchen and food are not provided, your unit is partly self-contained so you can prepare/cook/reheat your own breakfast and other basic meals if you wish. Each unit also has its own private and fenced courtyard with BBQ.

We aim to provide clean rooms and friendly service in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

Dogs:Terms & Conditions

Dogs must be clean, quiet and house-trained, and up to date with flea and worm treatments and vaccinations. They are allowed inside but not on the bed and not to be left inside the rooms unsupervised. Sorry no dogs under 18 months old or drooling dog breeds allowed. If you are bringing a dog you must tell us when making a booking request. Failure to meet our terms and conditions may result in cancellation of your booking at check-in with no refund of deposit. 2 dogs may be allowed by arrangement.

Marengo Beachbreak is a 1 acre dog friendly property, just 300m. from Marengo beach which is off leash for dogs all year round and a casual 30 min. walk into dog friendly Apollo Bay where you and your best friend can dine out at the many cafes. All 3 of our rooms have private garden courtyards with a spacious Kennel that you dog can relax in after a bit of stick work down at the beach, all the courtyards are fenced to a minimum height of 1.2 m. Dogs are allowed inside, 2 dogs will be allowed by arrangement. Please inform us you are bringing a dog when booking and check further down this page for terms and conditions concerning dogs.
