Cottage, Holiday house

Brilliant ocean views, swimming, surfing and fishing beach.

Lots of nearby beach and bush walks.

Cosy 1960's beach cottage lovingly restored with polished floors, open fire and wall panel heaters in all bedrooms (house freshly painted inside and floors polished in March 2011).

Sleeps up to 7 people
- 1 x QS ; 1 x QS + 1 x single bed; 2 x single beds.

Note, 3rd bedroom is not a separate private room, but a smaller sun room area with 2 single beds, which also provides walk-thru access to bedroom 2 and bathroom/laundry/toilet.

Massive timber deck, with gas BBQ, outdoor dining & deck chairs

Well-equipped kitchen with new gas stove, large fridge, new dishwasher and microwave

Bathroom/laundry with dual hand basins, shower (above bath), bath, washing machine and tumble dryer

2 x flatscreen LCD TV's (lounge room and bedroom 2 - ideal for kids) each with DVD player. 150 popular and recent DVD movies for all age groups. Excellent digital TV reception with 15 TV channels.

Stereo system, 5 disc CD player and many music CD's

Free local call telephone access

Free high speed Internet ADSL - incl free wireless WI-FI connection for laptops, iPads and smartphones (reasonable usage applies)

Covered doonas and Tontine pillows are provided. Guests BYO sheets, pillowcases and towels.

An optional linen supply is available @ $16 per person which provides sheets, pillowcases and towels (however guests make up their own beds).

No air conditioning or fans, all windows open to enjoy Nature's fresh sea breezes instead!!

For those with 4 legged friends, please note the property is not fenced but the deck is a fully enclosed 80m2 area .

Locality

Unbeatable location and views. We are only 100 meters from Skenes Creek beach with an uninterrupted ocean view.

There are many enjoyable walks including walking into Apollo Bay township along the beach (5kms) or going inland on numerous bush walks.

Outdoors: Massive timber deck. Enjoy meals outdoors with some of the best beach views along the Great Ocean Road. Handfeed Cockatoos, Rosellas and King Parrots at the same time.

The massive deck with gates at each end, looks directly out to sea - your 4-legged friend(s) will love 'patrolling' the deck!

You can easily walk all the (gravel/unmade) streets and country lanes around Skenes Creek, there is rarely any traffic.
