"Dairy Park" is a 1100 ha working farm set in the picturesque rolling hills of the central tablelands of New South Wales. The property has been in the Molloy family since the 1830's. Grant and Liz run sheep for lambs and wool, and beef cattle are bred and fattened. They are assisted by casual employees. The farm has horses, working dogs, hens and a pet dog.

There are wild kangaroos, echidnas, goannas and emus roaming the property as well as a wide variety of bird life.

Mandurama offers a central base for a wide range of activities being within easy reach of wineries, fine restaurants and golf courses.

A delightful stay, a wonderful day herding cattle, riding, collecting eggs - all perfect for an 8 and 5 year old (not to mention a 74 year old). Very strange to return to Cowra after 44 years and to find not too much has changed. Thank you Liz and Grant, for a lovely time.

Locality

The property offers rural relaxation in warmth, comfort and fresh air and is an excellent base to explore the region which is not only rich in history related to early settlement, bush rangers and gold mining, but also offers great scenery, wineries and good eating.

Guests can play tennis on Dairy Park or golf at one of the several courses in the surrounding area. There is a heated pool.

Property

Limited supplies of fresh produce such as eggs and vegetables may be available by prior arrangement. A general store and hotel supplying meals are situated at Mandurama, Carcoar and Neville (about 10 minutes drive) and there are full supermarket and shopping facilities available in Blayney (about 25 minutes drive).

Guests may use the tennis court. Tariff: $165 per night for one couple. Additional adults $35 per night each and children of school age and younger in a separate bed, $25 per night. Farm tours checking, moving stock are in air-conditioned 4WD work vehicles taking several hours.

As this is working farm, guests are advised that no pets are allowed on the property. Smoking is not permitted in “The Cabin” or farm vehicles.
