Links House is the perfect base from which to explore the
surprising and idyllic Southern Highlands. As our name
suggests, the guesthouse overlooks the prestigious first class
Bowral Golf Club, a magnificent backdrop, and a private club
which welcomes our guests.

Allow yourself to be lured to the Southern Highlands, where
Links House opened as an exclusive guesthouse in 1928 for
city people wishing to escape to a serene, yet sophisticated,
winter haven or year round country retreat. And still, today, an
escape to the beautiful Southern Highlands is to experience
some of Australia’s finest countryside and traditions.

Situated along one of Bowral’s most prestigious leafy avenues, lined by timeless trees, Links House is within easy reach of Bowral shopping and all Highland attractions.

Visitors can spend their days combing antique shops, art and craft galleries or the historic village of Berrima. There are garden tours, bushwalks in national parks, country markets, cafes or the famous Bradman Museum, local vineyards, scenic drives, picnics and walks. Or enjoy some of the vast range of leisure activities on offer such as golf, fly fishing or horse riding at local equestrian centres. Or you may wish to play a game of tennis on our court located in the grounds.

On show are some of the most beautiful gardens in the state, with each of the four seasons making a distinctive mark on the typically English trees, flowers, roses and brilliant tulips during the year. There’s also a wealth of heritage and history to the area, lending certain locations a European feel.

making facilities, central heating, electric blankets and hairdryers
to ensure your stay with us is a comfortable one.

Delicious and hearty, country style breakfasts are served in our sunny dining room overlooking picturesque gardens and golfing greens.

Eschalot Restaurant at Links House features modern International cuisine in an elegant, relaxed setting. Guests can enjoy pre dinner drinks in front of the open fire during winter, or relax in the formal courtyard during summer.
