Stroll the waters edge of the palm fringed beach, the esplanade beneath the sheltering trees or take a trip from the jetty on one of the boats that depart daily for The Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea Islands or along the coast to Port Douglas.

Situated in tropical Far North Queensland Palm Cove is a short 25 minutes north of the city of Cairns and 20 minutes from the Cairns International Airport.

Palm Cove is the premier holiday destination with its ideal position making it a central point to many of the local tourist attractions, including several golf courses, wildlife attractions and a rainforest cableway.

Port Douglas is located a 40 minute drive north of Palm Cove along the magnificant scenic coast road overlooking the Coral Sea.

A little further north again brings you to the village of Daintree then on through the ancient rainforest to Cape Tribulation.

Access to the Cairns Highlands and its many areas of interest is via the range road, which takes you to the village of Kuranda and its famous local markets.
