Bed & Breakfast

We welcome pets and can tailor our accommodation to suit the situation, for example, people with well-trained animals will be able to locate their basket/mat in the corner of the bedroom on the concrete polished floor (we have in-slab heating). One room opens onto a spacious enclosed backyard. There is a kennel, water and food containers on the patio and plenty of room for even large pets to stretch their legs. There is a small run that may be used for the pet. Our own small dog enjoys the company of visiting pets. We often walk him with visitors and their pets - it is a good way to visit some of the nearby points of interests, for example the extensive War Memorial gardens and the monuments of Anzac Parade. We have a modest charge of $20 a night for pet accommodation.

Locality

The "Red Bus" or "Hop on, Hop off" passes in front of our house and will take you to all the attractions you will want to see, such as: Old and New Parliament Houses, National Gallery, Questacon, High Court, National Library, the Australian National Museum, the tour of the embassies, etc...and in the Spring the Commonwealth Park where you can walk through Floriade. No need for a car!
