Beautiful Bridgewater beach is 2 minutes stroll, or look out the windows. The famous Great South West Walk goes straight past the door. This is part of 380km walking track from Portland through to the South Australian Border, right along the coast.

Cape Bridgewater is located 18 km's from Portland. Portland is 400km southwest of Melbourne, 600km southeast of Adelaide, on the coast.
Cape Bridgewater is mainly holiday houses. The kiosk is the only shop, but sell all you basic's. Bridgewater beach is know for consistant surf and great for all levels of ability. Surf patroled during summer.

Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Pets are permitted outside only.

Dogs are welcome outside. There is a large verandah decking which provides plenty of shelter. There is a kennel in the yard but you must provide bedding for your dog. The yard is not secure so if your dog is inclined to wander it might be a problem.
