A hosted Bed and Breakfast, Josephine's is a large family home with excellent facilities for visitors, providing country style hospitality in a convenient, quiet, suburban location.

Ideal for business people, couples, singles and families.

Josephine's is 12km from the City centre within Public Transport Zone 1. It is easily accessed by car from the Monash Freeway, Princes and Nepean Highways and close to regular rail, tram and bus services. Off street parking for visitors.

Three spacious bedrooms, one with queen bed looking out on to a pleasant garden setting, one with two single beds and a third single bedroom. There are two private bathrooms.

Family bookings have use of the whole accommodation area. For small children there is a selection of three lovely playgrounds, with the latest equipment, all only a short easy walk from Josephine's.

The comfortable guest lounge is an ideal place for visitors to rest after a day of touring and site seeing or preparing for the day ahead. Cable TV, with DVD and VCR. Guests tea and coffee facilities are provided.

The guest lounge opens out on to a private garden with BBQ and dining facilities which guests are invited to use. Guests are welcome to enjoy a continental breakfast comprising fresh fruit in season, juice, cereals, toast and freshly brewed coffee or tea. A cooked breakfast is available for a small additional cost. A laundry service is also available.

For the active sports person, recreational walker or bike rider, the area is surrounded by parks, walking/bike tracks and has a velodrome and synthetic athletic track within immediate 1km. From 1 November - 31 March two outdoor 50 metre public swimming pools are available, one within 1km and the other within 2km. Two "all year" pools are also within 5km. An excellent public golf course is located just five minutes away. The famous "Sandbelt" golf courses are only minutes away by car.

These are all easily accessed by frequent, low cost public transport, available direct to the venue concerned, or around 20 minutes by road if you prefer.

In addition, venues of major golf tournaments, some of Melbourne’s leading reception centres and the historic Ripponlea Estate – Australia’s first heritage listed home and garden – are close by.

We are surrounded by a selection of family and fine dining venues. This varies from a range of well known fast food outlets and smaller take aways to al-a-carte restaurants to suit all budgets and choice of cuisine.

For the shopper, Melbourne’s largest centre – Chadstone – is only 3km away and DFO Moorabbin is 10 mins drive. Academics or parents visiting students at either of Monash University’s Caulfield or Clayton campuses are midway between the two. Melbourne’s Bayside beaches are less than 15 mins drive. You will also be in an excellent “kick off” position for touring the Dandenong Ranges, Mornington Peninsular, Phillip Island and Gippsland and the Great Ocean Road and West Coast surf beaches.
