Located near the Popular Southern Tasmanian township of Cygnet, Blueberry Bay Cottage invites you to enjoy the experience of total privacy and contempory living.
Ideally suited for the couple wanting a romantic getaway, the Cottage can be equally adapted to suit 2 couples travelling together. Stroll just meters to the beach and wander along the shoreline as you watch the dolphins play while you collect fresh oysters from the rocks. Unwind and snuggle infront of the cosy wood fire and watch the moonlight reflect on the bay.
The open plan, mezzanine level, polished floors, granite benchtops, quality appliances and fixtures, and spacious outdoor living combine to create a cosy yet comfortable holiday destination.
Soft and tasteful furnishings, all bedding and linens supplied, as well as every appliance you may need for laundry and kitchen. You can Bake-up fresh blueberry muffins with fruit from the two neighbouring farms, (with berries avaiable all year round.)
Complementary Breakfast Provisions, tea and coffee, and delicious Home Hill Wine Await your arrival. All a part of the care and preparation we make for your memorable stay.
As Lymington takes you on the gently winding road 10 min from the town Centre of Cygnet, we offer an additional service of menu and meal provisions for you to cook upon arrival. Contact us for the choice of 3 delicious meal options. If you prefer to be wined and dined, the township of Cygnet features several gourmet establishments, as well as the award winning Peppermint Bay restaurant at Woodbridge which you will pass on your coastal drive thru the channel. Blueberry Bay is the perfect way to spend your Tasmanian Holiday experince exploring the local attractions, take in the pristine scenery, wander thru the salamanca markets, visit the popular tourist centres, such as the Talune Air walk, Hastings Caves and Thermal Pool. Hobart and surrounding areas are around an hour drive away and the journey is all part of the unique Tasmanian Experience.

Locality

The Huon Valley is known primarily for its world renowned apple industry, but in recent times the area has expanded to inculde aquaculture, numerous fruit farming, vinyards and restraunts. The avid water ways make room for sea exploration and tours of coastal Tasmnia as well as dare devil speed boat rides up and down the Huon River. Gentle fields and climbing hills create the postcard scenery found around every turn. The people are friendly and true and welcome visitors to the area like one of their own. The Huon Trail map gives a glimpse of the natural beauty and top spots to visit, but stay a little longer and explore a little further and you will never want to leave.
The seasonal changes and local arts festivals provide the cultural exchange many yearn to experience. The township of Cygnet hosting two of the popular art and music festivals every year. Local gallerys of hand made crafts and wood works mean a little piece of huon pine can go home with you to remind you of the fresh and soothing tones of the Huon Valley. Come and be inspired.

Normal holiday Rates are a preferred 3 night stay at $150 per couple per night. Each Additional adult $35 per night and children $10 per night.
Weekly rates are $1000 per week per couple and an additional $240 per week for each extra adult. Reasonable Family weekly rates available upon request. Christmas, and New Year rates (December 23rd until Jan 4th) $165 per couple per night, $55 each additional adult. $15 per child. Weekly rate of $1200 per couple and $260 for each extra adult.
