The fully-equipped, two-bedroomed chalet sleeps up to five (one double bedroon, one single bedroom and a double sofa-bed in the lounge) and has ample parking. Pets are welcome. In addition to its 1,500 olive trees the farm has horses and goats as well as many native species, including platypus in the dam.

Situated close to Devonport with its ferry-terminal and airport and to Sheffield, the town of murals, Mount Roland View is ideally situated for exploring central-north Tasmania and affords quick access to the international rowing centre at Lake Barrington. Breath-taking views, visits to award-winning vineyards, fishing, walking and good food are amongst the many attractions of the region. The wild-life covered, scenic Nut at Stanley; the splendours of the ocean at Boat Harbour and Port Sorrell; the vistas of Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake; the shops of Launceston are all within easy reach.

Mount Roland View offers you ready access to local produce, from wine to cherries, cheese to chocolate, smoked salmon to honey; all is there to visit and sample.
