The Cottage is fully equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday either as a couple or a family and don't leave your pet at home as they are more than welcome and we will also supply a kennel for them. There is also a big verandah with a roof on two sides of the cottage overlooking the river area. It also has a gate so the littles can play on the verandah while you relax with a book or/and glass of wine or the port and chocolates provided on your arrival. All bed and bath linen provided. Kitchen & laundry fully equipped. Wood heater and plenty of wood supplied for those chilly nights. Tea & Coffee supplied. TV, Free AUSTAR, DVD/CD Player, books, indoor games, CD's, DVD's and magazines to help you relax and enjoy your stay. You can self cater or we can organise a Breakfast Basket for you. We also provide Free Range Eggs on arrival (when our "girls" are laying)l. There is easy access to the river where you can swim, paddle a canoe, sit and read a book or just watch the platypus swimming. The children will love it. They can feed the chooks and collect the eggs also feed Eddie the horse and Mary the donkey. You can take a picturesque drive to Coffs Harbour, Armidale or Grafton all an hour away or a forty minute drive to Bellingen or just unwind with a glass of wine beside the river.

Locality

Our lovely Hobby Farm is situated up in the mountains 20klms west of Dorrigo where we have a wonderful river winding its way the full length of our property. We are 20klms from the World Heritage National Park, Waterfalls and The Skywalk at the Rainforest Centre where there is a Cafe, BBQ and picnic facilities. Dorrigo town has an Art Gallery, restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. There is plenty to do in this beautiful area.

Property

Our property has an abundance of wildlife including platypus that swim around in the river especially early morning and late afternoon. It is a wonderful place to come and relax either as a family or as a couple.
