Just 20 minutes drive south of Forster in beautiful Pacific Palms and nestled in a quiet cul de sac adjoining a peaceful rainforest, you will find Lakeside Holiday House, only 100 metres walk to the shores of gorgeous Smiths Lake. Or walk a further 10 minutes to Brambles reserve, another "off-leash" pet exercise area. Lakeside is ideal for pets and kids. Enjoy boating, swimming, picnics, kayaking, fishing or windsurfing.

The back yard contains an undercover BBQ area, massive 400sqm level grass yard enclosed by a newly built 1.8m high fence - safe for kids and pets.This is the most secure, pet-friendly yard you will find. An enclosed vegetable and herb garden and beautiful views of the adjoining rainforest.

A fully renovated holiday cottage, Lakeside contains 3 spacious bedrooms, a brand new bathroom and toilet and all new timber look flooring... no carpet which means peace of mind with kids and pets!

A separate living area adjoins one of the double bedrooms so the kids or in-laws can watch their own DVD and AUSTAR or enjoy some quiet time. These rooms also look out onto the gorgeous rainforest, yard and BBQ area.

The open plan kitchen and lounge room offer plenty of sunlight and has a TV and CD/radio. The brand new bathroom has a bath and shower in one. Large enough to fit 4 kids!

We are passionate about pets and all three of our properties are purpose built/renovated pet-friendly houses. We provide the most secure yard which is very important when holidaying with your four-legged loved ones and they are allowed inside too. Our guest info folder mentions some great spots to take them, too. Dog beds, bowls and toys, they're all here! At Lakeside, we don't just allow dogs, we want them to enjoy their holiday as much as you do!

Locality

Only 3 hours drive (270kms) from Sydney and within 10 minutes drive of beautiful Seal Rocks, Trechery, Yagon, Cellito, Sandbar, Blueys, Boomerang and Elizabeth Beach. Surrounded by national parks and some of the best scenery found on the east coast.

Nestled on the Lakes Way, half way between Seal Rocks and Blueys Beach (7-10kms), Tarbuck Bay is 20 minutes drive from Forster Tuncurry (22kms) where you can enjoy whale watching cruises, shopping, dining, movies and more great beaches.

Pacific Palms offers the best seafood and fishing so a BBQ feast is a must!

Smiths Lake Bowling Club is only 3 minutes drive away and provides a free shuttle bus daily. "The Recky" Pacific Palms Recreation Club is 10 minutes drive away where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets over Wallis Lake on the lakefront balcony. They also provide a free shuttle bus daily and both clubs offer great food, including local seafood for all the family for great value.

If you prefer takeaway, Blueys Beach shops, 7 minutes drive, offers pizza, fish and chips, bottle shop and small supermarket. Closer by is Smiths Lake shops which has a general store, bottle shop, butcher and cafe.

There are 3 general stores all within a few minutes drive offering ice, fuel and bait & tackle.

2m high fence around yard and gates have locks for peace of mind when leaving pets at home. Pets allowed inside. Walk to pet friendly lakefront only 100 metres from the house, also off leash pet friendly beach close by. We love dogs too but please keep barking to a minimum to respect our neighbours and please make sure any damage is reported immediately to the owner. Dogs are not permitted on any furniture or bedding at any time and please sweep or vacuum the house before your departure if there is excessive dog hair present. We have a very strict limit of 2 dogs and no visitor's dogs please.
