Just 20 minutes drive south of Forster and nestled in a quiet lakeside village of Pacific Palms you will find The Lake Escape, directly across the road from the shores of gorgeous Smiths Lake with totally uninterrupted views that will take your breath away! Only 10 minutes drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the coast including Seal Rocks, Blueys, Boomerang, Cellito and Elizabeth beach.

We also provide free of charge two kayaks (1xSingle and 1xDouble) and a "Tinny" large enough to fit 4-5 people anchored out the front of the house. Oars, life jackets and anchor provided. Just bring your fishing rods and bait!

Ten metres accross the road enjoy a walk along the lakefront or walk a futher 10 minutes to Brambles reserve, both "off Leash" pet exercise areas, The Lake Escape is ideal for pets and kids. Enjoy boating, swimming, picnics, kayaking, fishing or windsurfing.

We are passionate about pets and both of our properties are purpose built/renovated pet friendly houses. We offer the most secure yard as this is one of the most important things when holidaying with your four legged loved ones. We provide dog bowls and double dog bed. All we ask is that the yard is cleaned up and all pet hair is fully removed before departure otherwise a cleaning fee will apply.

No “Schoolies” thanks


A refundable bond of $300 ($500 if over 4 guests) applies to all bookings and will be refunded back into your nominated account within 24hrs of your stay if the house is left as is found and as per our terms and conditions.

Smiths Lake Bowling Club provides a free shuttle bus daily. "The Recky" Pacific Palms Recreation at Elizabeth Beach where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets over Wallis Lake on the lakefront balcony. They also provide a free shuttle bus daily and both clubs offer great food, including local seafood for great value.

Blueys Beach shops offers pizza, fish and chips, bottleshop and small supermarket. Closer by is Smiths Lake shops which has a general store, bottle shop, butcher and café and hairdresser
There are 3 general stores all within a few minutes drive offering ice, fuel and bait & tackle.

Accessible

Suitable only for persons with limited mobility but not wheelchair users, Step or lip exists to the entry door, Step or lip exists to the shower, Chairs are permitted in the shower.

There is level access from the parking area to the rear of the house and throughout the house. Showers are large enough for a shower chair but not wheelchair accessible.

Pet friendly

Pets are permitted inside, Secure, fully fenced running area, Food and water bowls provided, Bedding/sleeping area provided, Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted.

2m high fence around yard and gates have locks for peace of mind when leaving pets at home. Pet friendly lakefront straight across the road, 10 minute walk to pet friendly park and off leash beach 5 minutes drive from house. There is a double trampoline dog bed under cover. Front and back yards fully fenced. We have a strict limit of 2 dogs, no continual barkers please and all pet hair must be fully removed before departure thanks otherwise a cleaning fee will apply.
