"We had a wonderful weekend, the house was modern, clean and very well appointed, everything you could possibly want for a holiday. Not only were we catered for but so were our dogs, lovely bed, food and water bowls and even toys, they had a great time too. We will be back.

"We had the best weekend we have had a sometime. Many Many laughs out in the boat. Next time it will be the canoe's. The only problem is it wasn't long enough. Loll !!! The dog's Holly and Katie really felt at home there as well. Which makes our holiday even better, not to having to leave them behind. Cheers Donna and Michael."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Lake Escape with our dog. The yard was very secure. Cindy was wonderful in preparing the property for our arrival. The house was beautiful and easy to clean. Kitchen is very modern and great to use to cook all our meals. Would definitely return with our dog again in the summer!"

"As a dog-friendly property, it was wonderful to find a place that allowed the dogs to come inside to keep us company when we were home. The house was very easy to clean so we found no trace of previous dogs and were able to remove all traces of our dogs before we left. The information booklet directing us to all the dog-friendly beaches and parks was most useful - the dogs have never been so happy in their lives!
As a holiday house, it was tranquil and private, located in the midst of natural attractions in all directions but far away from the tourist traps. The kayaks and tinny were a bonus! Fully equipped, we wanted for nothing. Perfect."

"The lake escape is the best dog friendly accommodation we have ever stayed at. Cindy takes into great consideration the whole family including the fur kids! The home was an amazing retreat for our family get together at Easter with beautiful landscaped gardens perfect for an Easter egg hunt with the kids. "We had a fantastic time at the lake Escape. The house was great and has a fabulous view of the lake just across the road. It was very spacious, had all the comforts of home and more, the yard was very secure and a good size for the dog to run around in. The tinny on the lake is an added bonus. We were going to spend our days sightseeing around the area, but spent most of our time on the lake in the tinny and then resting on the verandah watching the eagle and other birdlife. Thank you for providing such a fantastic dog friendly place Cindy. We look forward to returning soon. "

We were a couple of Kiwis with no transport and they were so kind and helpful - even baked cookies for us! Go the Aussies!
The gorgeous house was super clean with everything we could wish for! A lovely modern home and decor - and what a view! Wow - and we though NZ had the best views!

"Good 3 bedroom house, Newly referbished. Kept clean & confortable, good lockable backyard for dogs & front area to run when your home. Directly across the road from Smiths Lake which is nice if you want to take the boat or a quick swim. Overall a great time away. Nothing to complain about."

Our dog was well provided for with a well fenced garden and a bed! The tinnie was a great and the boys managed to catch a few flathead. The location was perfect with only short drive to the beaches and the local shops."

"What a magical spot, the view is second to none and the fishing kept the boys happy while I watched from the verandah. We also went into town which is only about 20 minutes drive away but were happy to be in quiet Pacific Palms in the lovely house. It was well suited for us with everything we needed and all like brand new which was great value. We will certainly be making an annual pilgrimage to The Lake Escape with our fishing rods!"
