"We spent a lot of time on the lovely veranda after a busy day, friends who live in Hervey Bay came and visited and it was a great place to relax. I liked that the bedrooms were away from the living room. we walked the poodle to the beach at night, such a safe area. Everthing was so clean and we loved all the plants and shrubs, so much better than a holiday apartment where we have stayed before.

"We found Marjie's place a quiet and friendly neighood to stay in,It took me back to my childhood when I stayed at my grandmother's home in yeppoon,Marjies place felt like home and I wanted to stay there all the time,I loved the place,Hervey Bay is a LOVELY and FRIENDLY place to visit and we did not want to leave.The yard is very dog friendly,safe to leave them in the yard."

"What a wonderful place and the position is also great being right in the middle of the area. i was the only Person but my two four legged companions had a great time also with a nice secure yard and a rampat the back for the older ones. "We stayed at Marjies place at Hervey Bay a couple of months ago. It was great because all of our pets were welcome and it's hard to get somewhere to stay with pets. We were so pleased when we arrived as the house was so clean and roomy. It had everything we needed to use as a family. It is in walking distance to the beach and the shops aren't far at all.We would recommend Marjies place to anyone.

"Marjies Place is a lovely cosy place close to everything that we needed. It is 10 minutes walking distance to cafes and takeaways, the beach (including off-leash dog beach), supermarket and most amenities. We felt very comfortable at Marjies, it was just like a second home and my dog enjoyed the lovely fenced yard.
We stayed in mid December 2008 and had lovely sea breezes every day. The weather was just right for swimming and Marjies place is only a 10 minute walk from the beach, so we made it there every day.
Overall we had a very comfortable, relaxed and happy stay."

"The accommodation was better than we expected. It represents good value and is situated very close to the esplanade and shops. We have three active dogs who thoroughly enjoyed their stay. I recommend this house to all dog lovers who want to take their pets with them. The owner is extremely helpful, to the point where she returned items we left behind and would not accept payment for the postage."

The value for money was excellent, we felt so relaxed staying in the house with all of the modern appliances available for our everyday use. The backyard was big enough for the kids to play in, the whole holiday was made easy with such a self-sufficient set-up. It was going to cost us more money to stay in a cabin in a caravan park!"

"We're a family of seven and a puppy so to be able to just move in and everything was in the cupboards was fabulous. It meant we could travel so much lighter which made the trip more enjoyable.
