Whether you're looking for excitement, tranquillity or a bit of both, Pier One at Hervey Bay is a great place to stay. There's a delicious basket of tropical fruits, chocolates and other treats to start your holiday in just the right way. There are spa bath, bubbles and bathrobes to slip into. There's a sunlounge on the balcony ready and waiting. The apartment is all about you having a wonderful holiday.

Do some beach combing along the endless beaches or grab a jetski and buzz over to Fraser Island. Get the adrenalin pumping with a skippered sail across the bay or relax back into a sunset cruise with champagne and nibbles.

Swim in the warm calm waters or try kitesurfing when the wind picks up. Do a spot of fishing off the Urangan Pier or join a charter for some deep sea fishing excitement.

Take a blanket, champagne and fish and chips to the beach at sunset, cook your own meal and relax on your balcony or book a table at a classy restaurant.

On a calm day, grab a snorkel and flippers; swim out and float over beautiful coral. You don't need a wetsuit, the water's warm.

Hire a bike and wander the esplanade or take a helicopter ride over the island. The possibilities are endless.

Where We Are

Hervey Bay sits perfectly on Queensland’s sub-tropical east coast. We’re just one and a half hours flying time from Sydney and a leisurely four hour drive north from Brisbane.

The Bay is an area of great natural beauty which enjoys an ideal climate, beautiful beaches and year-round safe swimming. The wonders of Fraser Island are just a short boat ride away and our calm waters offer an exciting playground with a myriad of activities available. Welcoming cafes and restaurants provide the fuel as you wander the esplanade, snorkel over the coral reef, throw yourself into a game of beach volleyball or do a spot of bird-watching.

Pier One is perfectly positioned on a small point directly across the esplanade from a beautiful safe swimming beach. It's a 200 metre stroll to the Urangan Pier and an easy 15 minute wander to the marina. Great cafes and restaurants, the supermarket, newsagent and bakery are all nearby.

There is no reserve in front of the building and visitors enjoy magnificent unrestricted views across the bay, over the pier and out to Fraser Island.

Whales and Fraser Island

Come between July and November and experience the thrill of humpback whales up close and personal. Let us help you to have a holiday that you will never forget.
