Cottage, Holiday unit, Farm stays, Self-contained apartment

We provide fully self-contained accommodation in the left wing of the Homestead. A family friendly environment with plenty of space for young ones to have fun with some outdoor games. Relax and enjoy meals on the patio while watching rosellas, babblers feeding nearby. Take a stroll round the extensive gardens amongst the colourful plants and shrubs.
Enjoy a camp fire when weather and conditions permit or picnic along the Koreelah Creek while watching the platypus swimming nearby.
Our young visitors can join us when we have young animals which need hand feeding.

Locality

We are situated approximately 20 minutes from Queen Mary Falls with Rainforests, National Parks within easy reach. Boonoo Boonoo is an attractive spot with its unique swimming holes, which regularly draw the visitors. Climb to the top of Bald Rock, the largest granite boulder in the Southern Hemisphere.
Granite Belt Wineries are just an hour away and well worth a visit. Maps are available.
To the west, the charming historic town of Tenterfield has many heritage buildings dating back to Henry Parkes, the founder of Federation. On your way down, stop off at Thunderbolt's Hideaway.

There are interesting walks around the property with some attractive views along the valley,especially when the sun is about to set.We have a family of platypus often visible from the bank of the creek during most times of the day.A variety of parrots can bee seen while taking a walk, sometimes a king fisher is seen swooping down to the waters edge.A rain forest is situated at the back of the property,about a 20 min drive, where a variety of native animals can be seen.
