Cottage, Holiday house

Julpa is a peaceful self-contained cottage located just 1½ hours drive from Sydney or 2 hours by train and a short taxi ride just 1.2KM from Leura station. It overlooks a lush valley of eucalyptus trees with views over the Grose Valley.

Whilst Julpa is ideally a romantic retreat for two, it is also suitable for a weekend getaway with friends.

Julpa has two large bedrooms both with queen-sized chiropractic beds and quality linen. Both bedrooms open on to decks overlooking natural bush and landscaped gardens.

Relax and enjoy the sunken spa bath and gaze out into the private bush view or snuggle up in front of the gas log fire.

There are many places to sit and contemplate the bush surroundings, read a book or enjoy watching the many species of birds. Bring your own CDs or iPod and drift away to the sound of your favourite music.

For your convenience, Julpa has a fully equipped kitchen, TV, DVD, CD, iPod player, heating, hair dryer and iron.

Leura Village, restaurants and shops are only 2 minutes by car or a comfortable 20 minute stroll. You are also only minutes from some of the best bush walks in the Blue Mountains and tourist attractions such as the Three Sisters at Katoomba.

Leave the stress of the city at the door and let the magical essence of Julpa relax and revitalise your spirit.

Locality

Julpa Cottage is just minutes from Leura the prettiest village in the Blue Mountains, crammed with antique shops, galleries, scrumptious caffes and award winning restaurants. Leura has an excellent golf course, the local scenery and bushwalks are magnificent. Also at Leura you will find gorgeous show gardens, Toy and Railway Museum, Leura Cascades and Gordon Falls. Leura Garden Festival and Leura Village Fair are popular events held in October each year.

Also near by is Katoomba and the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park. A short 5 minutes drive takes you to tourist attractions such as The Three Sisters, Echo Point, Scenic Railway, Skyway, Jamieson Valley and Grose Valley.

A short trip from Leura you can visit the Zig Zag railway, Jenolan Caves, Mount Wilson, Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens and Norman Lindsay Gallery.
