Cottage, Holiday house, Bed & Breakfast, Self-contained apartment

Near the beach and only 30 minutes South of Adelaide , our bright and spacious cottage Saltaire is the perfect getaway .
Saltaire -where the Sea meets the vines- is just minutes from the beautiful Pt Willunga Beach , renowned restaurants such as : Star of Greece, Russells , Fino and the prestigious McLaren Vale Wineries.

The cottage is set amidst a very pretty native garden with resident honey-eaters and is fully fenced , making it ideal for small children and pets. Pets are welcome indoors with care, though not on furniture or in bedrooms.

With two bedrooms, one double and one queen, and a double sofa bed in the living room, it can be enjoyed by a family or two to three couples wanting to escape for a weekend or longer. The cottage is totally self contained with a fully equipped kitchen and large living/dining area with air conditioning, television, video, sound system, books and games.

Enjoy the beach, relax in the garden or explore the Southern Vales wineries and the magnificent Fleurieu Peninsula at any time of the year.

Locality

Port Willunga is famous for its beach and the wreck of the Star of Greece ship which foundered just off the coast in the 19th Century . It can be seen from the beach at low tide , and a red buoy denotes its position. It's a few hundred metre swim from the shore and well worth the effort as it has been well preserved . A plaque can be seen underwater beside the ship.
THe Star of Greece Cafe overlooks the beach and is one of SA's more famous restaurants.
