"Everything about our stay was great...except it was too short.The property was lovely. Really well appointed. The setting was relaxing & peaceful.Can highly reccomend the walk to the picnic area, truly gorgeous views shared with a mother Kangaroo & her joey. We stayed with 2 other couples & all of us want to bring our families for a longer stay next time..Did I mention the coffee machine.Great touch.Loooved it."

"The area was great, lovely views. But personally a bit too far from Mudgee for our liking. Cottage was very clean, even had milk in the fridge! The complimentary bottle of wine is a lovely touch too. The fire was on when we arrived, which was appreciated too."

"The house was spacious and the kitchen extremely well-equipped. There were plenty of scenic walks and the sight of a mob of wallabies early in the morning was particularly memorable. Great for dogs and children I can't wait to return to Old Bara Guesthouse."

"The house was clean and well equipped. There was nothing to miss! The views are beautiful, and the owners left us to enjoy ourselves. We would recommend Old Bara to family groups like ours (five children and two dogs).
