Bed & Breakfast

Hamilton Heritage B & B is an early 1900 Federation Bungalow featuring original high ornate ceilings and open fireplaces with stained glass windows.

The main three rooms are air conditioned, light and airy with the most comfortable beds our guests compliment us every time. Guests are not confined to their respective rooms even though the rooms have televisions they are most welcome to relax and view the television in the lounge room where they will find videos for children and DVD facilities as well. Fancy a game of chess the board is set up at all times.

The screened in veranda gives protection from insects as well as comfortable seating to enjoy a cuppa and a chat, this overlooks the garden most enjoyable outlook.

Breakfast of choice and time is served in the breakfast room which overlooks the veranda and garden which is surrounded by beautiful trees.

The garden has a number of different combination of seating so that the sun or shade can be enjoyed.

Because we are a children and pet friendly accommodation this garden and yard is totally enclosed for their safety.

Speaking of the four legged fur children we are a 5 min stroll to a wonderful park that allows pets off lead so that they can run and play.
This park also has a very safe playground for children.

A short drive into the Newcastle foreshore there is an off leash beach for pets and owners to enjoy.

Locality

Conveniently located to Broadmeadow Race Course, Broadmeadow Station, Newcastle Entertainment Center, Energy Australia Stadium [home of the Knights], Newcastle Show Ground, Newcastle Harness Racing, International Hockey Venue, Beaumont Street and the Cosmopolitan Heart of Newcastle.

We are a close to Broadmeadow station if you are training we will collect you and bring you to our door.

There are a host of things to do and see in the Newcastle area, several day trips are available to view dolphins, sand boarding and sand dune excursions, also wine tasting tours all of these we can help with arrangement. There are extreme sports and more sedate ones such as bike riding, go-carting, mini golfing, river cruising, fishing, harbor dinning, art galleries,museums and shopping, or just relaxing.

Beaumont Street, know as the Cosmopolitan heart of the Hamilton area famous for its smorgasbord of restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, boutique pubs is a 10 minute stroll from our door.

We have three main rooms all are air conditioned for your comfort:-

"The Tranquility" features four poster queen size bed, en suite has bath/shower. this room can also accommodate 2 children.(stretcher, airbed or cot)

"The Kimberley" features lace canopy queen size bed. en suite has shower.

"The Grandiloquent" features double and single bed with 2seater sofa room also room for fold away bed. This room can accommodate family of up to 5 people. en suite to this room has spa/shower.

All rooms have air conditioning, TV, fridge, fans, heaters,tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryers, iron/ironing boards.

Cancellation policy, a charge of 100% of the booking will be taken if canceled within 48 hours.

We find it less stressful for everyone concerned if pets are bedded down int the bathroom area of the rooms. Our yard is fenced and gated for the safety of your fur children to frolic in the garden. We are happy to watch over your fur child if you need to attend a function and they are not permitted to go with you.

2 rooms The Tranquility and The Kimberley feature queen size beds with en suites suitable for single or double.

For more than 3 nights a 10% discount4th/5th nights stay.
Weekly stay, 7 nights cost, is $95 per night
Stays of 1 month $90 per night single stays
Cost for double. $145 per night 4th/5th nights stay 10% discount.
7 night stay $140 for a double stay.
prices include breakfast and rooms are en suited.

The Tranquillity room can also house a stretcher for children up to 9 yrs, and fold away for extra adults or teenagers.
