Marina Terraces is a small, friendly complex, comprising a total of 17, fully self contained, 1 and 2 Bedroom Apartments, Ideally located in the heart of Port Douglas, Marina Terraces offers you a comfortable base to explore the many activities and attractions the region has to offer, or to just kick back and relax. Be it a day snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, or a relaxing massage, our onsite Tour Desk can advise and arrange all your requirements.

Attractions

Port Douglas has long been considered the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, and the Daintree Rainforest, and the area has a lot more to offer.
If you're the adventurous type, you can go bungy jumping, white water rafting, hot air ballooning, even hand gliding. There are croc spotting cruises on the Daintree River or on Port's own Dickson Inlet, or talk a walk at Mossman Gorge or Newell Beach with a local indigenous inhabitant. You can dive, snorkell, sail, or fish the Great Barrier Reef, or stretch out on Fourmile beach.
If you're more the pampering type, Port has a number of day spas offering a variety of treatments, or perhaps a spot of celebrity searching while you relax in one of the many cafes or restaurants along Macrossan Street. The Sunday Market is a very popular attraction, featuring locally made handicrafts and produce.
The area also has a number of wildlife parks/sanctuaries so you can view the local wildlife up close and personal.
There are 3 golf courses in the vicinity, and during the winter months, you might get lucky enough to catch the local footy team playing a home game.
