Locality

Warnbro which is located 30 minutes south of Perth is an ideal getaway and is perfectly located, with the new bunbury to Perth train line close by, it has never been easier to take a trip south to visit Mandurah, which is well known for its crabbing and fishing. Further down the coast is the fabulous winery's at Margaret River.
If you desire to head north up the coast, Hillary's Boat Harbor has shops and restaurants galore. It also has water slides and a trampoline area for the kids and the safest of beaches, which are ideal for young children, while the older ones can jump off the jetty.

A must is a short ferry ride to beautiful Rottnest Island where you can hire bicycles for all ages and cycle around the island and get to hand feed the quokkas. Also not to be missed is Perth Zoo.

Property

There are many things to do in the Rockingham area;

You can either walk to Penguin Island at low tide or take a short ferry ride to visit the colony and penguin nursery or picnic in the cool shade of the waterfront caves. You can also hire a boat and take a short trip to Seal Island only metres away to watch sea lion families put on a show. These islands are home to a large group of friendly pelicans.

At Old Rockingham Beach you will find a selection of cafes and restaurants to choose from for breakfast, lunch or dinner, many overlooking the beautiful waters.

The Shoalwater Bay Beach and surrounding areas are perfect for all water sports including swimming, fishing, crabbing, snorkelling, boating and windsurfing.

Point Peron offers great walking opportunities, and is a terrific place for dolphin spotting and snorkelling.

Nearby Safety Bay is a favourite for windsurfers, while the jetty at Palm Beach is popular for fishing and crabbing, as the water there is more than 15 metres deep.

Rockingham City Shopping Centre is open seven days a week during the holidays and offers an endless array of popular stores.
