Holiday unit, Holiday apartment, Self-contained apartment

Fish-Tales on the Bay is 2 X 2br Fully Self-Contained Holiday units. 1 X Br wih Qs bed, the other a single bed and bunks. Sleeping 5. We have a front balcony to enjoy a coffee or glass of the local wine with great views of George's Bay. You may even see some Dolphin's playing. Fully equipped kitchen, All linen Supplied, incl. towels.

We have a laundry downstairs with a spare toilet, gas bbq, washing machine. Garage under and space to put your boat. We also have boat washing facilities. Close to boat ramps for you to take your own boat, or go on a fishing charter.

Only approx. 10 minutes to the shops and Restaurants. Close to beautiful Waterfalls, walking tracks, National Parks. Visit the Pyengana Cheese Factory, Lavender farm.

Pets are welcome to stay with us, we supply a water bowl, pooper-scooper, bags and newspapers are kept in laundry. It is important to advise us of the breed and name of pet.

We also have a child's High Chair, Porta-cot and baby's bath for use of guests free of charge. Please advise at time of booking if you wish to use all or any of them.

We are located on George's Bay, or only minutes to Peron Dunes and the most beautiful varied beaches.

We are located near many bushwalking tracks, Tasmania is known for its beautiful national parks. We do have listings of walks in the units, also, the St Helens Information Centre has a lot of suitable information.

Canoeing & Kayaking

Guests welcome to bring their own canoe/kayak, Secure storage facilities available, Located on waterfront, Less than 5 minutes walk to water, Less than 5 minutes drive to water.

We are situated on George's Bay, St Helens, opposite the beach. We are less than 1km to the boat ramps. Under the units are garages, where you can store your own canoe/kayak.

Fishing

Fishing spots available nearby, Local fishing knowledge available, Located on waterfront, Located less than 5 mins walk to water, Located less than 5 minute drive to water, Boatramp within 5 minute drive, Boat storage/parking available onsite.

We have room for you to bring your own boat, or use one of the Local Fishing Charters. George's Bay is across the road, take your own rod and try the fishing yourself. We are only minutes to the Bay boat ramp, or if you wish to go outside the barway, then their is a boat ramp not far away for you to do that. Many locals are friendly and we can all help with the best fishing spots. There are also a few Bait and Tackle shops in town that can help with anything you may need.

Golf

There are 2 Golf Courses situated nearby. The St Helens Golf Course is very popular. They are looking into an Annual Golf Day. Bookings at Fish-Tales on the Bay would need to be made well in advance.

Pet friendly

Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Secure, fully fenced running area, Food and water bowls provided, Bedding/sleeping area provided, Cats are permitted.

The pets are very welcome to come and stay with us. Owners are required to bring their own bedding and food bowls, but we do supply a water bowl and spoon for their food. A pooper-scooper is supplied in the laundry downstairs, with bags and newspaper for guests' use. We would like to be advised of the name and breed of the pet as when we walk around the units, we want to make it more comfortable for the pet to see us around. A photo of your pet would be appreciated for our future Hall of Fame - Pet Guests in the new reception area.

Waterfront

Accommodation within 50 metres of waterfront available, Absolute waterfront, Expansive water views.

Only minutes to two boat ramps - One is where you can take the boat on George's Bay to go fishing, skiing. The other boat ramp is to take your boat outside the barway.

Windsurfing/Kitesailing

Windsurfing and/or kitesailing available on site, Popular windsurfing and/or kitesailing spots nearby, Windsurfing/kitesailing storage available onsite.

Fish-Tales on the Bay is situated across the road from George's Bay, a very popular area for Windsurfing/Kitesailing. We don't have any equipment, but have plenty of room for storage of your own.
