Cottage, Bed & Breakfast

Cherrytree Cottage has been described as a treehouse , as it is nestled in and around some lovely exotic trees. It is set up as an ideal romantic retreat for couples, but we can arrange a temporary bed for a child as well.
The English garden of 3 acres has been showcased in the Australian Open Garden Scheme , and features a range of established exotic trees as well as a lovely Japanese Water Garden. We do allow for WEdding parties in this area.

PETS: Your pets are very welcome in both our cottages.Pets are allowed indoors (with their own bedding ) but not on furniture or beds, or on carpeted areas. There is a $100 fully reimbursable bond, which aims to cover us against any damage that may be caused by your pet...or any extra cleaning that may be required .
The property is not fully fenced due to its vast size.Because of this and our roaming chooks, we prefer for pets to be on a leash at all times when outside . We are looking at installing a 30m by 20 m fenced area so that dogs can be left unattended.

the quality of their sleep on the king size bed, having a feeling of being amongst the trees when they wake up and the beauty of the garden .

Locality

Crafers is unique in being so close to the City ( as little as 20 minutes to the CBD ) but in a rural environment .
Cherrytree Cottage is set in 3 acres of garden and is less than a kilometre to the village of Crafers which features fine eat in and takeaway restaurants .
Stirling is a village a further kilometre away which has a wider range of cafes .
The Heysen trial winds past Mt Lofty Summit , which is a short bush walk away.
The Adelaide Hills Wineries are well known as the closest to a major city , and the trail around the Piccadilly valley will take you to award winning cool climate wine-tastings .

Property

The property is very cosy . It has a kitchenette with mod cons and a showerette offset. There is no bath.

Cats are permitted, Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Pets are permitted inside, Secure, fully fenced running area.

Pets are very welcome. Indoors with own bedding , not on beds or on furniture .
There is a small fenced outdoor compound suitable for small-medium size dogs
There is a reimbursable $100 pet bond per pet to cover any extra cleaning that may be required ( territory marking, excess hair cleaning etc. )
Pets required to be on leash when outside the 'run' or cottage area, as not all the 5 acres fully fenced, and we do have wandering chooks.

Wedding venue

Group accommodation available, Church(es) nearby, Marquee weddings possible.

We have a wonderful wedding ampitheatre suitable for outdoor ceremonies , hidden away within our 5acres of garden
