Lavendale Farm offers self contained cottages or Bed and Breakfast in the Farmhouse. Our cottages have two or three bedrooms and huge living areas. "Aussie Bush" is country style with a wide verandah and BBQ. "Valencia" is medeterranean style with a courtyard and BBQ. "Bali Hai" has a tropical island feel abaout it with a 4 poster bed and lots of decking. All have large bathrooms with baths. All have their own BBQ areas.
The Lodge is our largest unit. It has three bedroom with sleepoing for 8 people. The house is completely wheel chair accessable. There is a huge patio and bush garden. BBQ and rompus room with extra toilet.
Our newest unit "Kirribilli" adjoins The Lodge and is separated by the large games room/conference room. Together these two units sleep 14 people over 11 or 12 beds. The Lodge and Kirribilli can be booked separately or together.
"Kirribilli" has a modern theme, has 2 large bedroom with ful kitchen, lounge and bathroom. It own parting area and outdoor area and garden.
We have horses and ponies, donkeys and alpacas, cows and a couple of pet sheep. We even have performing pigs and an ostrich. If you don't like animals, you will love the bush along the river. Or enjoy the sandalwood plantation. Or simply sit and do nothing and enjoy the fresh air.
Our cottages are solar powered.
Our rates are for the maximum number of beds available in each unit.

Please, No dogs in The Red Room. If you wish to bring a dog please ask for our "Dog Policy".

Locality

We are 10 minutes from York and 15 minutes from Beverley. Only about 1.5 hours from Perth. Base yourself at Lavendale Farm and explore the Avon Valley at your leisure.

Property

Lavendale Farm is a Land for Wildlife property. We have natural bush, nut plantations, a sandalwood plantation. We have crop farming and dexter cattle. A little bit of everything. Help us feed the animals in the evening and maybe enjoy a campfire afterwards. Bring some Marshmellows and always wear enclosed shoes on the farm.

Farmland Experiences

Farm animals live on the property, Sheep, Cattle, Chickens, Horses, Other farm animals, Guests able to interact with the farm animals, Working farm with some limits on guest access to animals.

We like our guests to be involved with feeding the animals in the evening. We also have alpacas an ostrich and two performing pigs.

Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Pets are permitted inside.

Please bring your dog's own bed. Dogs allowed inside cottages but not on furniture and in bedrooms. Dogs must be on a leash when outside.

Winter Holiday

Log fire.

Winter time displays the beautiful green of the crops. The eather here in winter is usually calm but cool. Cuddle up by the wood fire. If it's not too wet, we can light the camp fire and toast some marshmellows.
