TakeABreak.com.au, Australia’s only independent holiday rental website, has initiated a first time ‘Best Places to Stay’ award for Australian destinations which recognises towns and cities that have outstanding facilities in specialist segment categories. Winners will be voted on by the public with 8 categories presenting finalists across each state.

“Went to Australia Open in 2008, after that went for a walk along theMelbourne streets and saw the people having a gathering and playing guitars along the road. So enjoyable.”

“Commencing in Perth and driving all the way up the coast to Monkey Mia where we fed and swam with dolphins. Then back down to Perth where we swam with seals and then onto the Margaret River region, where we fed stingrays. Along the way we found some spectacular places to stay and discover and the weather was absolutely fabulous.WA has so much to offer and the people were always friendly and helpful.”
